Marie G. Frey, 90, of Freeport died Thursday April 26, 2012 at the Freeport Rehab and Healthcare in Freeport. Born June 24, 1921 in Pecatonica she was the daughter of Anthony and Lena (Ubben) Buntjer. On September 4, 1940 she and Alvin C. Frey were united in marriage, and he preceded her in death on July 25, 1964. For 27 years Marie worked at Structo retiring in 1980. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Freeport. Surviving are two daughters Darlene R. (Kenneth) Baldauf of Pearl City, Donna J. (Robert) Spangler of Freeport; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, 4 sisters, one brother, 2 daughters Janis Tischer, Judith Veach and son-in-law Louis Veach.
