Marilyn June Castle, 75, of Freeport, died Monday, March 9, 2009
at Rockford Memorial Hospital.
Born June 22, 1933 in Orangeville she was the daughter of Ralph and Dorothy (Messinger) Harnish.
Marilyn worked at Burgess Battery for 20 years and then 11 ½ years at Micro Switch retiring December 31, 1988.
Surviving is her son, Bruce A. (Marie) Castle; 3 grandchildren, Anthony B., Robert, and Bruce Castle Jr.; 2 sisters, Ellen (Jim) Stadermann of Winslow, and Lila L. Harnish of Freeport; several step grandchilden; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister; and 2 brothers.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Lyle Babcock officiating. Burial will be in Cedarville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday 1 p.m. until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established.
