Marion R. Fluegel, 83, of Freeport, died Monday, December 8, 2008, at her home.
Born May 19, 1925 in Freeport she was the daughter of Walter and Gertrude Adams. She married Harold Oliver Fluegel February 11, 1945 and he died March 25, 1997.
Marion helped her husband on their farm.
She was a member of Lena Salem United Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting.
Surviving are 1 son, John (Kay) Fluegel of Freeport; 1 daughter, Wendy Heyden of Orangeville; 1 sister, Doris Wahler of Freeport; 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 infant daughter, Elaine Fluegel; and 2 brothers, Lowell and Vaughn Adams
Funeral service will be Thursday 2 p.m. at Walker Mortuary. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday 1 p.m. until service at Walker Mortuary.
