Marion J. LaMoe, 91, of Freeport, died Monday, October 26, 2015 at Parkview Home.
Born January 31, 1924 in Barron, Wisconsin she was the daughter of Lloyd G and Bertha E (Johnson) Holman.
She married Kenneth R. LaMoe May 25, 1948 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He died January 2, 2005.
Marion worked at NI Gas for 15 years.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church and League of Women Voters.
Surviving is her son, Steven (Vickie) LaMoe of Durham, California; her grandchildren, Christopher (Emily) LaMoe of Chico, California and Jessica LaMoe of Durham, California; her great grandchildren, Caroline and Henry LaMoe; her niece, Barbara Ann Schmidt; and her nephew, Bill White.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 brother and 1 sister.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 2 at First Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Monday until time of service at the church.
A memorial has been established for First Lutheran Church.
