Freeport – Marlene K. (Moore) Shippy of Freeport passed away at home on Wednesday, November 25 ^th with her family by her side.  She was born on July 14, 1946 in Freeport to Hester H. "Ham" and Margaret R. (Turner) Moore.  She graduated from Dakota High School in 1964 and she worked for Micro Switch Honeywell for 40+ years.  She enjoyed collecting antiques and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Steven Kunkle of Freeport; her mother, Margaret Sass of Freeport;  as well as Aunts, Uncles and cousins Moore and Turner side of the family.

She was preceded in death by her father and infant brother, Larry Allen Moore.

Private family services will be held and her final resting place will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
