Martin L. Sager, 77, of Freeport, died, Sunday, May 1, 2011, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born September 25, 1933 in Freeport he was the son of Charles and Clara (Herbig) Sager. He married Pauline Osbourne January 14, 1961.
Martin worked for Modern Plating 25 years retiring in 1998.
He was a member of Church of Latter-Day Saints.
Surviving is his wife, Pauline of Freeport; 1 daughter, Cherie (Jaime) Hadju of Freeport; 2 sons, Eric (Tammy) Sager of Lena and Jason Sager of Freeport; 1 brother, Don (Donna) Sager of Freeport; 2 sisters, Nellie Snyder and Alice Matoon both of Freeport; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Lisa; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Church of Latter-Day Saints.
