Mary M. Davidson , age 93 of Freeport, IL, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Presence St. Joseph Center in Freeport. She was born February 18, 1927 in La Crosse, WI; the daughter of the late Harry and Lavisa (Bird) Marshall. She married Donald Davidson on June 25, 1948; he passed in 2009.

Mary graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Northwestern University, member of Theta. She taught Kindergarten in the Chicago area. She was a member of Bethany UCC of Freeport where she played in the bell choir and of the Rincon Congregational UCC of Tucson, AZ where she participated in the Masterworks Chorale (Two Sons Symphony Choral Society). She loved music, reading and her grandkids.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Patti Scales of Boise, ID and Carolyn (Bob) Johnson of Freeport; and grandchildren, Casey Scales of Boise, ID, Elizabeth Jonson of Madison, WI and Jacob Johnson of Freeport. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; son, Howard; sister, Margaret Stouffer; and brother, Harry Marshall, Jr.
