Mary A. Frye, 84, of Freeport, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at Provena St. Joseph Center.
Born April 23, 1922 in Sterling she was the daughter of Joseph and Rosa (Avenatti) Bonardi. She married John F. Ginger February 14, 1942 and he preceded her in death. She married Willard "Bill" Frye February 25, 1984 and he died in 2003.
She worked at Ginger's Food Center which became Grant's Food Center, and retired from State Bank.
She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
Mary was an avid bowler and enjoyed motor cycling with her husband.
Surviving are her sons, John Ginger and Joseph E. (Toni) Ginger both of Freeport, and Richard P. Ginger of Warner Robins, Georgia; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; and 1 brother.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Msgr. P. William McDonnell officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Sterling.
Visitation will be Monday 9 a.m. until time of service at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials have been established for FHN Hospice and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
