Obituary
Mary E. Kennedy, 90, of Rockton, died Sunday, December 14, 2014, at Presence St. Joseph Nursing Center.
Born November 5, 1924 in Sidora, Illinois she was the daughter of Fred and Arizona Lampton. She married James Kennedy and he preceded her in death.
Mary was a long time school bus driver in the Rockton and Rockford area.
She was a World War II Army Veteran.
Surviving are her son, Robert (Bonnie) Brooking of Lena; her daughter, Donna Lee Kennedy of Belvidere; one grandson, Brian (Elyse) Brooking of South Beloit, Illinois; one brother, Gerald Lampton of Washington, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.
Cremations rites have been accorded.
Memorial services will be at Walker Mortuary.
Burial of her cremated remains will be in the Kilburn Cemetery in Kilburn, Illinois.
