Obituary
Mary Catherine (Sharpf) Shearer, 85, of Freeport, IL passed away peacefully of natural causes at her home on June 25, 2014.
Mary was born on September 23, 1928 in Peru, Indiana to Kyle and Helen (Pearson) Sharpf. She married Ernest George Shearer (deceased) on May 2, 1950 in St. Peter's Church in Winamac, Indiana.
She enjoyed her family, gardening, and baking, loved antiquing, yard sales, and playing cards, and was a fantastic knitter.
Survived by sister, Margaret (Sharpf) Stover of Freeport, IL; son, Michael Kyle (Rug) Shearer of Nashville, IN; daughter and son-in-law, Martha (Marty) and Walter Kim Gradolf of Morgantown, IN; and son, James Thomas (Jimbo) Shearer of Greenwood, IN; and five grandchildren and one granddaughter- in-law; and two great grandchildren.
