Matilda L. Klosa, 80, of Freeport died Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at her home. Born March 28, 1934 in Freeport she was the daughter of Clarence and Binnie (Williams) Holbert. Matilda graduated from Freeport High School and married Henry Klosa on June 30, 1951. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Freeport. Surviving are her husband Henry of Freeport, children Robert (Charlotte) Klosa of Freeport, Pam Fluegel of Freeport. Sister Norma Ernst of Freeport. Five grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, two nephews, two brother's James Holbert, Clarence Holbert, two sisters Marion Richart and Bernice Cali. Visitation will be Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 2-3 p.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Freeport. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. at Chapel Hill. A memorial has been established in her name.
