Freeport-Matilda J. "Tillie" Nack, 94, of Freeport, died Sunday, January 30, 2005, at the Stephenson Nursing Center.
Born July 22, 1910 in Freeport she was the daughter of William and Blanche (Young) Kraner. She married Mander W. Nack October 20, 1951 at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa.
She was an accountant for 27 ½ years at Burgess Battery retiring in 1972.
Surviving is her step daughter, Carol Heck of Rockford; her step son, Thomas (Judith) Nack of Denton, TX; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; 2 nieces, Janet (Don) Thruman of Freeport and Judith (Gary) Killough of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 3 great nieces; 6 great nephews; multiple great great nieces and nephews; one great great great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 sister; 1 step granddaughter; her stepson; and her great nephew.
Funeral service will be Friday 11:00 a.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Don Jamerson of First Free Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday 10 a.m. until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
