Maxine E. Wolfe, 81, of Freeport passed away Tuesday April 13, 2010 at Manor Court. Born February 15, 1929 in Freeport she was the daughter of Paul R. and Lois L. (Thoman) Salzman. She was a 1947 graduate of Freeport High School. On June 29, 1947 she married Charles E. "Spike" Wolfe he preceded her in death on December 25, 1995. Together they had two daughters Susan (Bradley) Harbach of Shannon and Sandra (Arthur) Herm of Morton. Maxine enjoyed playing cards her favorite being bridge. She loved being with her family and always asked them to come see her. Surviving are her daughters, six grandchildren Sarah (Tim) Slater, Emily (Jeff) Walter, Angeline (Jake) Schubert, Michael Harbach, Charles Herm and Matthew Herm; five great grandchildren Payton, Logan and Jessica Slater, Jillian Walter and Jaden Schubert. Preceding her in death are her husband and parents.
