Megan L. Homan, 38, of Lake in the Hills, formerly of Freeport, died Friday, September 25, 2015 at Pepper Family Hospice in Barrington.
Born March 20, 1977 in Freeport she was the daughter of Richard and Sandy (Uglum) Schwiesow. She married Dan L. Homan in June of 2000.
Megan was a financial analyst for Baxter Health Care in Deerfield.
Surviving are her husband, Dan of Lake in the Hills; her parents of Freeport; her daughter, Alexis M. Homan at home in Lake in the Hills; 1 sister, Margo (Reggie) Palmer of Gore, Virginia; 1 brother, Rob (Cathy) Schwiesow of Carpentersville, 4 nieces, Veronica Homan, Katelyn Palmer, Lydia Schwiesow, and Tiffany Homan; 1 nephew Ryan Palmer.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; 1 uncle; and 1 aunt.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Private family services will be held.
Interment of her cremated remains will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
