Rockford - Merlin F. Germain, 87, formerly of Rock City died Tuesday June 19, 2007 at Provena St. Ann's Care Center in Rockford. Born October 29, 1919 in Rock Run Township Stephenson County, IL. He was the son of Albert F. and Mabel F. (McDonald) Germain, on August 1, 1946 he married Joyce Sylvia Mayes in Beloit, WI. she preceded him in death in October of 1994.
