Michael L. Busker Sr., 63, of Freeport died Wednesday, May 08, 2013, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born March 4, 1950 in Freeport he was the son of John H. and Marjorie D. (Sieck) Busker Jr. He married Pam Altman March 7, 1997.
He served in the US Army during Vietnam.
Michael was a Trim Carpenter in Freeport for several years and was the Grounds Keeper for FHN Memorial Hospital until his retirement.
Mike was an original supporter of the Ferguson Cancer Center and organized the Malcolm Eaton Car shows.
Surviving is his wife, Pam of Freeport; two sons, Michael Lynn (Deanna) Busker Jr. of Freeport and Jason Lee (Jessica) Busker of Kieler, Wisconsin; his stepson, Stephen (Melody) Altman of Chicago; and his brother, Larry (Diana) Busker of Danville, Kentucky; Angelina, Cassandra, and Jaylyn Busker, Carly Briener, Brady Thumser, and Tyson Altman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday May 13, 2013 at Crossroads Community Church.
Interment of his cremated remains will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
A memorial has been established in his name.
