Michelle L. Sherrer, age 50 of Freeport, IL, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023. She was born August 15, 1973 to Larry Hagemann and Kathy Neuschwander. She was a graduate of Freeport High School. Michelle was previously married to Christopher Sherrer.

She was a loving mother, dedicated to raising her family. Michelle loved animals, especially horses. She also enjoyed her collections, crafts, and sewing, making many blankets and gifts.

She is survived by her parents, Larry (Lynnie) Hagemann of German Valley, IL and Kathy (Butch) Neuschwander of Freeport; sons, Jordan Hagemann of AL, Brett Neuschwander of Freeport, Sebastian Sherrer of Freeport and Tyler Sherrer of Freerport; brothers, Eric Hagemann, Lucas Hagemann, and Jordan Neuschwander; sisters, Jenny Gerber and Tanya Baker; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and great grandparents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Walker Mortuary in Freeport, IL with a visitation before the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Condolences may be shared with her family at www.walkermortuary.com.
