Michelle M. Sturtevant, 59, of Freeport, died Thursday June 9, 2016 at her home.
Born January 19, 1957 in Freeport she was the daughter of Joseph "J. Chris" and Marjorie (Schmutzer) Price. She married Daniel Sturtevant June 24, 1978.
She was a 1976 graduate of Aquin High School.
Michelle was working at Anne's Garden Center.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was an active supporter of Faith United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Dan of Freeport; her mother Marjorie "Marge" Best of Lake Summerset; 2 sisters, Denise (Craig) Mutchler of Lake Summerset and Annette (Jeff) Blascoe of Pecatonica; her sister-in-law, Pat (David) Krusey; nephews, Ryan (Lisa) Mutchler, Jordan (fiancé Lesley Diehl) Mutchler, and Nikolas (fiancé Melissa Culbertson) Blascoe, Matthew (fiancé Emily McDermott) Krusey; her niece, Jenna Krusey.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016 and 10 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Trinity United Methodist Church.
