Obituary
Freeport-Mildred A Chambers, 95, of Freeport, died Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at Freeport Memorial Hospital.
Born July 6, 1908 in Putnum she was the daughter of Beldon and Mary (Williams) Long.
She married George J. Finnegan on June 24, 1932 and he preceded her in death. She married Donald H. Chambers September 30, 1964 and he preceded her in death.
She was a lifetime affiliate of the Women of the Moose.
She is survived by one step-daughter, Denise Padfield of Ridott; two step-sons, David (Margaret) Chambers of Lena; and Dean (Diane) Chambers of Pearl City; seven step-grandchildren; 13 step-great grand children.
Her parents; husbands; and two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be Saturday 10:30 a.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend John Hollis of First Church of the Nazarene officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Burial will be in the Putnum Cemetery in Putnum, Illinois
A memorial in her name.
