Obituary
Freeport-Naomi E. Gassman, 88, of Freeport, died Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born October 15, 1916 in Rogers, Arkansas she was the daughter of Frank and Pauline (Schabilon) Monigold. She married William C. Gassman May 6, 1939 and he died June 10, 1985.
Naomi worked at Micro Switch for 26 years retiring in 1982.
Her memberships included Trinity United Methodist Church, Micro Quarter Century Club, R.S.V.P., and FHN Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving are two sons, Daniel R. Gassman of Freeport and David W. Gassman of Naperville; 1 brother, Robert (Jean) Monigold of Mesa, Arizona; 1 sister, Mrs. Irma Pash of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 6 brothers; 3 sisters.
Funeral service and burial will be Saturday 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Reverend Justin Mapes of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Trinity United Methodist Church.
