Obituary
Freeport-Neva H. Fransen, 89, of Freeport, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born June 22, 1914 in Orangeville she was the daughter of Gusto A. and Dora (Jordan) Trester. She married Lester Zipse August 5, 1939 and he died January 5, 1941. She married Henry Fransen November 8, 1946 and he died June 11, 1980.
She worked for the Northwestern Telephone Company for 46 years retiring in 1976. She worked at the Stephenson County Senior Center for 10 years.
She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church.
She enjoyed playing cards and bingo at the Senior Center and listening to country music.
Surviving are two sisters, Helen Pontnack of Freeport and Ruth McDonald of Virginia; three step-grandchildren, Pamela Sue Hall of Pinkney, MI, John (Alice) Pinnow and Scott Pinnow both of Snellsville, GA.; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; two brothers; one sister.
Cemetery with Reverend Robert L. Conner officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside service and burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at Cedarville A memorial has been established for the Stephenson County Senior Center.
