Nikolai Gladkin, 90 of Rock City died Monday May 14, 2012 at his home. He was born January 7, 1922 in Kursk, Russia. In 1954 he and Antonina were united in marriage in Chicago, she preceded him in death in 2000. He was a member of St. Vladmir Russian Orthodox Church of Lost Lake. Surviving are three sons Peter (Victoria) Gladkin of Palm Springs, CA, Vladimir "Walter" (Gayle) Gladkin of Davis, Victor (Junko) Gladkin of Elgin; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents and wife.
