Born in Harvard, Illinois to

Richard "Dick" Vance and

Jeanette Ellen Stedman Sweatman Vance O'brien. Proud Little sister of Richard "Rick" Vance and forever big sister to Patricia Ann Vance Dipasquale. Nita was married a couple of times and had 4 children,

Surviving her are her daughter, Judith Marie Bankson Ortiz Melchor Sanders and her 8 children, Venancia, Spencer, Sabrie, Mercedes, Madea, Mateo, Roshcea, and Malachi.

Joseph Lynn Bankson preceded her in death on 04.07.2017, and his children William and Zachary.

Also surviving her are daughter, Michelle Ellen Bankson Smith, son in law, Floyd Smith Jr and her children, Alaysia, Ella (Severe), and Zy'Asia

Surviving son, Thomas Patrick Casey, her daughter in Law. Jenna Casey and their children, Finnigan and Calvin. Nita also leaves behind 22 great grandchildren.

Nita spent her life working til she was forced to medically retire. She stayed in 2 fields her whole life. Bartending and factory positions. She spent her life between Illinois and Wisconsin. She previously returned to her roots and got to spend her last days surrounded by her grandkids and great grandkids.
