Freeport-Onita W. Johnson, 77, of Freeport, died Saturday, March 19, 2005, at Freeport Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
Born April 2, 1927 in Jackson, Tennessee she was the daughter of Allen and Ethel (Murray) Threadgill. She married Steve Johnson and he preceded her in death.
She was a beautician for many years.
Surviving is her son, Michael (Andrea) Walker; grandson, Josh Walker both of Cordova, TN; 3 brothers, James (Bernice) Chatman of Jackson, TN, Reverend Charles (Octavia) Threadgill of Rockford, and Joe (Katie) Threadgill of Freeport; 4 sisters, Sally M. Nichols of Rockford, Corrine Curry of Jackson, TN, Ernestine Addison of Rockford, and Mary (Henry) Carter of Freeport; special friends, Mr. & Mrs. Elmer and Karen Pehl of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers; 1 sister.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
