Orville E. Miller, age 72 of Freeport, IL, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021 at St. Anthony Hospital in Rockford. He was born December 26, 1948; the son of Orville L. and June (Simler) Miller. He was a 1968 graduate of Freeport High School. Orville married Linda Dikkers on October 21, 1972

He was a diesel mechanic and worked in several places over the years. He was a member of the Baileyville Reformed Church. His passion was cars, he loved working on and racing them.

He is survived by his wife Linda Miller of Freeport; children, Stacy Miller of Freeport, John (Kelly) Miller of Rock City, IL, and Angela (Eric) Dykema of Grandville, MI; grandchildren, Harley Miller, Colton Miller, and Tristan Dykema; and sister, Pamela (Jerry) Mills of Freeport. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Baileyville Reformed Church with a visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport.
