Pamela A. Ferguson, 76, of Freeport, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at her home.
Born December 1, 1936 in Freeport she was the daughter of Charles and Lucille (Shepley) Pack. She married Robert R. Ferguson November 24, 1956 and he died May 6, 1993.
Pam worked for Micro Switch and then Holton & Garrity Law offices which became Beckmire, Garrity, & Vogt until her retirement.
Her memberships included Embury United Methodist Church and Eagles Auxiliary.
Pam enjoyed many activities during her life, including vacationing with her husband and spending time with her friends. She was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles and her pets. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and was especially proud of her granddaughters.
Surviving are her daughter, Tara Ferguson of Freeport; her son, Chuck Ferguson of Freeport; her grandchildren, Tess Regez and Tatum Regez; and her special friend, Dick Young of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Walker Mortuary. Visitation be will 9:30 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
Memorials may be given to Friends Forever Humane Society or Embury United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
