Patricia Ann Best (Jensen)

Patricia Ann Best (Jensen) passed away on October 8, 2026.

Patricia was known for her outgoing personality, positive outlook, and determination to face life's challenges. Even after being confined to a wheelchair, she learned to “roll with it,” meeting obstacles with resilience and refusing to give up. Though her body eventually grew tired, her spirit never stopped fighting.

Family was an important part of Patricia's life. Though relationships sometimes carried heartache, she continued to hold love for her children in her heart, even from a distance, always hoping for healing and understanding.

She is survived by her 4 legged Friend and companion, Roxy; her children, Charles Jr. Weleba and Mary Ruth; Lisa and Tom Boor; Adam and Margherita Weleba; Mary and Josh Ostrom; and William (Billy) Kreeger, who held a special place in her life as her 5th child.

She is also survived by her siblings Mike Jensen; Don and Terri Jensen; Donna Bakulski; Robert (Bobby) Jensen and Joyce Jensen; her cherished “Sis,” Sharon (Sheri) Veer; her Dear Friend, John and so many nieces and nephews.

Patricia adored her grandchildren, Joseph Anthony Lawson, Shy Ostrom, Keagan Newhouse, Hailey Boor, Hannah Boor, Heidi Boor, Alissa Weleba, Isabella Weleba, Zoey Weleba, Savannah, Amanda, Riley, Rory & Brandon.

She also leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Charlie Rayne, Iris Belle, and Kinsley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irving (Irv) Jensen and Elizabeth (Betty) Jensen; her husbands, Charles (Chuck) Weleba and Richard Best; her beloved grandparents, aunts, and uncles; and Stan Bakulski.

Patricia will be remembered for her resilience, positive spirit, and determination to keep moving forward, no matter what life brought her way.  A Celebration of life will take place at a later date.  Condolences can be left for the family at www.walkermortuary.com.

May she now rest in peace.
