Patricia A. Knoup , age 87 of Dakota, IL, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025 at the Lena Living Center in Lena, IL. She was born on September 18, 1937 in Freeport, IL; the daughter of the late Ralph and May (Schnell) Hille. She was a graduate of Freeport High School. Patricia married Kenneth Knoup on June 20, 1959.

She worked for Western Newell for 43 years. Patricial enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially loving on her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Knoup of Dakota; sons, Robert Carl (Sharon) Knoup of TN, LaVerne Knoup of TX, and Brian (Kaycee) Knoup of TN; daughter, Kimberly (Jim) Doyle of Lena, IL; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jackie Stingley.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Wolf Hollow Golf Course in Lena, IL. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Condolences may be shared at www.walkermortuary.com.
