Patricia K. Lawson, 73, of Freeport, died Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Provena St. Joseph Nursing Center.
Born September 28, 1937 in Clinton, Iowa she was the daughter of Allen and Myrtle (Swanson) Eads. She married Don Lawson in 1959 in Warren.
Pat was a nurse at FHN Memorial Hospital for 10 years.
Surviving are her husband, Don of Freeport; 1 daughter, Kelly (Brian) Krull of Freeport; 1 son, Scott (Linda) Lawson of Cedarville; 1 sister, Clara Weiber of Comanche, Iowa; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; and several step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister, Maralia Bruhn, 1 nephew Kurt Bruhn; 2 sister-in-laws, Pat and Arlene Lawson; and 1 brother-in-law.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 17, 2011, 3 p.m. at the Walker Mortuary.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at Walker Mortuary.
