Patricia R. Schulz , age 85 of Freeport, IL, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Parkview Home in Freeport. She was born October 24, 1933 in Chicago, IL; the daughter of the late John and Mary (Mooney) Shaw. Patricia married Howard Schulz in Oaklawn, IL; he passed on November 8, 2007.

She has worked as a warrant clerk for the DuPage County & Cook County Sheriff Department, retiring in 1986. She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren were a very important part of her life.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynn (Glenn) Miller of Freeport, IL and Kathleen (Michael) O'Malley of Wauconda, IL; son, Thomas (Kim) Schulz of Frankfort, IL; and grandchildren, David Frank, Kara (Matthew) Wells, Lauren Miller, Daniel O'Malley, and Katelyn O'Malley. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; and brother, Walter Shaw.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
