Patsy A Richart, 74, of Freeport, died Friday, January 8, 2010 at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born January 9, 1935 in Freeport she was the daughter of Charles and Genevieve (Bartholomew) Stucky. She married Royce R. Richart October 5, 1960 in Dubuque, Iowa and he died May 2, 2004.
Patsy worked for Contel Telephone Company in Freeport for 37 years.
Her memberships included Women of the Moose and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
Surviving are 4 sons, Alan R. (Lynette) Richart and Michael R. Richart both of Florida, Randy R. Richart of Freeport, Joseph R. (Dana) Richart of North Carolina; 1 daughter, Cindy Martz of Arkansas; 2 sisters, Marguerite Keith of Freeport and Karen (Edward) Pehl of Davis; 1 brother, Harland Stucky of Carmi; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 1 sister, Doris Taber.
Funeral service and burial will be in the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Tuesday 1:30 p.m. with Reverend John Hollis of First Church of the Nazarene officiating.
There will be no visitation
In lieu of flowers memorials have been established for Stephenson Nursing Center and Stephenson County Senior Center.
