Freeport
Paul H. "Doc" Walters, 90, of Freeport, died Thursday, August 5, 2010, at the Lena living Center, in Lena.
Born April 16, 1920 in Freeport, he was the son of Wilbur and Lillian (McGrath) Walters. He married Marion Lower December 31, 1951 in Milan.
He was an Army veteran of WWII.
Doc was a McConnell farmer from 1951 thru 1979.
Surviving is his wife, Marion of Freeport; 1 sister, Harriett Davenport of Stockton; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial graveside services and burial of his cremated remains will be Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at the Cedarville Cemetery in Cedarville.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial has been established in his name.
