Freeport – Pauline R. Leu, 86 of Freeport passed away peacefully at her home.

She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt.  She loved spending time with all her family. In recent years she enjoyed painting on canvas. crocheting and trips to the casino. She and Richard Leu were married on October 7, 1967 in Freeport.

She is survived by her husband Richard Leu of Freeport; her son, Dennis Herbig of Freeport and her daughter Cheryl (Wayne) Shenberger of Freeport. Her siblings are Harry (Barb) Cox of Pearl City; Pam (Rick) Meier of Orangeville and Sharon Kaney of Freeport.

Her legacy includes her grandchildren Heather (Jr) Jacobs of Lena; Holly (Charles) Kraft of Janesville WI and Curtis Herbig Foley of Alabama. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren, Grant Manthe, Grace Manthe, Konner Nehring, Isaac Kraft, Braden Jacobs, Brody Jacobs, MyKenzie Herbig, Dawson Herbig and Rylan Herbig.

She is preceded in death by her Father Paul Cox, Mother Ruth Cox, her brother Kenneth Cox, her great granddaughter Mady Jacobs and her nephew, Paul Stauffer.
