Dakota-Pauline Berlin Ochsner, 94, of Dakota, died early Sunday morning, May 13, 2007.
Born December 30, 1912 in Buckeye Township of Stephenson County, the daughter of Charles and Laura (Clingman) Reed. Married on March 5, 1936 to William H. Ochsner in Cedarville Evangelical Congregational Church. He passed away on July 18, 1986.
Pauline was a housewife and lived for 30 years on a dairy farm and 39 years in Dakota. She taught organ to 300 students in her home and at Jackson's Music Store in Rockford. She also served as church organist for over 33 years at Salem United Church of Christ in rural Lena, retiring in 1986.
Pauline was a member of the Rockford Organ Club for 8 years, a member of the Women's Fellowship of Salem U.C.C., serving spring luncheons in her home for 12 years, and a former member of Bethel United Methodist Church of Afolkey.
