Pearl Lillian Hessenthaler (nee: Tielkemeier) age 96, went to be the Lord, Monday, January 4, 2016. Pearl resided at Vintage On The Ponds' assisted living facility in Delavan, WI. for the past 17 years, and was there at the time of her passing.
Pearl was born in Epplyanna, (Davis) Illinois as one of four children to Elmer and Julia Tielkemeier. Pearl married John Henry Hessenthaler in 1940. They had two sons. Besides being a wife, homemaker, and mother, Pearl worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for Hessenthaler Case Farm Implements of Davis, IL.
Pearl was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; John, brother; Delmar, and sister; Marion. Also deceased are: brother-in-law, Rev. Mike Maietta, brother-in-law; Alfred Hessenthaler, and sisters-in-law; Rose, Elsie, and Minnie Hessenthaler.
Surviving Pearl are: son; John Richard (and Phylis) Hessenthaler, son; Darrell Elmer (and Barbara) Hessenthaler, six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Also surviving are: sister; Margaret Maietta, sister-in-law; Bobbye Hessenthaler, and special loved ones; Brenda and Allan Heilemeir of Davis, IL.
The visitation and funeral service will be at St. Paul's Church, 8800 E. Epplyanna Rd, Davis, IL, 61019, on Friday, January 8, 2016. The visitation will be at 12:00 p.m. and the service will be at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott Naevastad officiating. Interment will follow immediately in the church cemetery.
