Pearl E. Reeser, of Freeport, died Saturday, July 10, 2010, at River Bluff Nursing Home in Rockford.
Born December 13, 1926 in Morrisdale, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of Percy and Cloie (Smeal) Crowell. She married Byron Reeser November 1, 1947 and he died August 20, 2004.
Pearl worked in the Dietary Department at a Hospital in Pennsylvania and then worked in laundry and housekeeping at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport.
She was a member of First Free Methodist Church.
Surviving are her daughters, Nancy (Pat) Clark of Rockford, Cindy (Jim) Rohde of Rock City, Linda (Randy) Bush and Penny Reeser both of Freeport; 1 son, Byron Reeser of Freeport; 7 grandchildren, Carolyn Oudekerk, Monica (Drew) Tennant, Marcey(Terry) Morrell, Jimmy (Heather) Rohde, Jeff (Beth) Rohde, Alyssa Bush, Kelsey Bush; 8 great grandchildren, Nick Schultz, Neil Schultz, Gavin Rohde, Paytn Rohde, Kenzie Tennant, Maddyx Morrell, Cassie Montgomery, and Koy Montgomery; 1 brother, Blair Crowell of Pennsylvania; 1 sister, Mary Kephart of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother Wayne; 6 sisters Annabelle, Esther, Gladys, Hilda, Leona and infant sister.
