Freeport- Phyllis Bauch, 49, of Freeport died Monday February 18, 2008 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born September 26, 1958 in Freeport she was the daughter of Norman and Judith (Crone) Truman. She and Michael Bauch were married on May 17, 1986.
She worked for Western States and General Casualty Insurance Companies and Barrett Realtors. Her hobbies included golfing, reading, walking her dogs and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of Freeport; one daughter Amy (Kurt) Schnoor of Pearl City; one son Tyler Bauch of Freeport; three grandchildren Austin, Raegan and Sylvia Schnoor all of Pearl City; one sister Shirley (Duane) Welte of Aurora; one brother Dean (Debra) Truman of Freeport; step mother Violet Truman of Brodhead, WI; mother in law Irene Bauch of Freeport; nieces and nephews and special friend "Roz".
She is preceded in death by her parents, and special friend "Princess".
Visitation will be Thursday from 4pm until 7pm at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Freeport.
Funeral service will be Friday 11:00 am at the church with the Reverend Mark Luepke officiating.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the service and entombment of the cremated remains will be in the Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum.
Memorial funds have been established in her name for the FHN Hospice and Friends Forever Humane Society.
