Phyllis E. Janicke, 71, of Freeport, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born February 1, 1939 in Stephenson County she was the daughter of James and Myrtle (Folgate) Crawford.
Phyllis worked at Micro Switch Honeywell and then for Home Health Care in Freeport
Surviving are her daughters, Debra Cox, Karen Afnan, and Beth Ann Edler all of Freeport; her sons, Daniel Ray (Tina) Edler of Rockford and Philip (Mary) Lincicum; her sisters, Betty Kraft and Barb (James Peters) Smith both of Freeport; her brothers, James (Tootie) Crawford and LeRoy (Shirley) Crawford of Colorado; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; her baby twin brother, Phil; 1 sister, Joann Bardell; and 1 grandson, Anthony Cox.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
There will be no funeral service.
Interment of her cremated remains will be in the Rock Grove Cemetery.
