Freeport-Phyllis E. Morrison, 84, of Freeport, died Monday, November 28, 2005 at Provena St. Joseph Nursing Center.
Born March 23,1921in Freeport she was the daughter of Hiram and Elizabeth (Ziezig) Morrow. She married Ralph Morrison in Freeport.
She worked at Micro Switch for over 30 years.
Phyllis was a member of First Church of the Open Bible. She enjoyed baking cookies for the Day Care Center and being a office helper at Open Bible Church. Phyllis enjoyed spending time with and making dinners for her family.
Surviving is her husband, Ralph of Freeport; two sons, Gerald (Susan) Morrison of Arlington, Texas and Wesley (Shelly) Morrison of Freeport; her sister, Shirley (Al) Johnson of Freeport; four grandchildren, John (Nancy) Morrison and Kathy (Jeff) Cornelius both of Texas, Rachel (Tim) Dube' of Kenosha, WI, and Elizabeth Morrison of Ankeny, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister; and 2 brothers.
Funeral service will be Friday 1:30 p.m. at First Church of the Open Bible with Reverend Burliss Parker officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Day Care Center at First Church of the Open Bible.
