Pyhllis V. Rosenwinge, born January 26 th , 1932 to Clyde Koester and Ada "Bahr" Koester in Scales Mound Illinois. Phyllis passed away on August 1 st 2020.
Phyllis was married to Robert W. Rosenwinge on August 23rd 1952.
Phyllis was homemaker, a loving wife, and mother of five. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Freeport. Phyllis was valedictorian of her class. She was a member of the Red Hatters Society, Relay of Life, Mary's Circle at church, and she was a Den Mother for Cub Scouts. Phyllis loved to travel. She also played on a bowling team and enjoyed cross stitching. Phyllis was a volunteer at Freeport Hospital and Meals on Wheels.
Phyllis is survived by Three sons: David (Amy) of Evergreen, Colorado; Kim (Carol) of Freeport; Kevin (Stephanie) of Bristol, Tennessee; One Daughter: Renee (Todd) Schueneman of Pewaukee, Wisconsin. One brother: Charles (Beverly) Koester of Scales Mound, Illinois. Two sisters: Marjorie Muchmore of Mason City, Iowa; Genelda (Carl) Steffen of East Dubuque, Illinois; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; her husband Robert; One son, Steven Rosenwinge; One grandchild, Kyle Rosenwinge; One great grandchild, William Atwood; One brother, Deloss Koester
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 4 th at 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport. There will be a one hour visitation before the service starting at 11:00 a.m. A memorial Fund will be established in her name. Condolences may be shared at www.walkermortuary.com.
