R. Georgene Untersee, 74 of Davis died Wednesday December 9, 2009 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born October 6, 1935 in Lancaster, OH, Georgene was the daughter of Herman "Pete" and Nina (Vernele) Llewellyn. A graduate of Freeport High School. On April 25, 1959 she and Julius O. Untersee were married in Freeport. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2003. She enjoyed her flower gardens, collecting angels, doing cross stitch and especially spending time with her family and friends. She attended Davis Faith Community Church. She is survived by six children Teresa Untersee of Deepwater, MO., Scott L. Untersee of Rockford, Julius "Joe" Untersee of Pecatonica, Shawn (Denise) Untersee and Sarah (Michael) Russell both of Davis, and Shannon Untersee of Ulrich, MO.; 10 grandchildren Joshua Untersee, Nicholaus Untersee, Harley Marcum, Matthew Untersee, Savannah Untersee, Austin Untersee, Miranda Russell, Evan Russell, Brittney Dulin and Alexandria Dulin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and grandson Michael Joseph Untersee.
