Randall L. Burkhalter, age 73 of Freeport, IL, passed away at home on Sunday, February 23, 2025. He was born September 13, 1951; the son of Delbert and Deloris (Yahnke) Burkhalter.

He was a 1969 graduate of Freeport High School. Randall married Karen Buss on April 17, 1971. He owned and operated Burkhalter Electric. He enjoyed his dogs and many years of riding his motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Burkhalter; daughters, Amanda (Jaime) Meier and Kelly (Mitchell) Staas; granddaughters, Linley Meier, Piper Staas, and Lucy Staas; brother, Gerald (Earleanne) Burkhalter; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and mother and father-in-law.
