Randall Lynn Nesemeier, 70, of Freeport, died Saturday, March 5, 2011, after a brief illness.
Born August 27, 1940 in Freeport he was the son of Lynn and Luella (Becker) Nesemeier. He married Nancy A. Homan in 1974.
Surviving is his wife, Nancy of Freeport; his children, Dan Nesemeier of Dominican Republic, Steven (Lisa) Nesemeier of Ellijay, Georgia, Tammy Macaulay of Florida, William (Tracy) Fransen of Long Beach, California, Matthew Fransen of Rochelle, Laura (Harry) Verner of Freeport, and Anne (Cory McPeek) Nesemeier of Stockton; 4 sisters, Barber Miller of Arizona, Roseanne (Gary) Tracy of Wisconsin, Rita (Jerry) Anderson and Nancy (Tom) Giuffre both of Freeport; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews; his beloved pets, Bella and his main man, Spud.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant son, Joshua Nesemeier.
Randall was a jack of all trades, master of many, the total package.
He was a loving and devoted husband, dad, papa, and brother.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was a member of Friends of Bill.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be a gathering for friends and relatives Friday at Walker Mortuary from 4 to 7 p.m.
In lieu flowers a memorial has been established in his name.
