Lifetime Freeport resident Dick Freidag, 78, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006 in his home. He was born April 11, 1927. Dick was the son of Frederick and Elta (Koenig) Freidag. He married Jean A. Sheetz on May 24, 1947 in Freeport. He graduated from Freeport High School in 1944 when he began his career at Bankers Mutual Life Insurance Company retiring as Vice President and Treasurer in 1991.
