Richard Dale "Little Rick" Brant, 49, of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, formerly of Freeport, died March 4, 2011 in Stevens Point.
Born July 16, 1961 in Freeport he was the son of Wayne and Audrey (Peters) Brant.
Richard was a graduate of Freeport High School and attended Highland Community College.
He was a construction worker specializing in dry walling.
Surviving are his parents, Audrey (Bernie Sr.) Spradlin of Thomson, Illinois; 4 brothers, James, John, and Mark Brant, and Bernie Jr. "Sport" (Peggy) Spradlin all of Freeport; his aunt, Ronita Peters of Loves Park, Illinois; his sister in-law, Penny Brant of Freeport; several nieces and nephews; and his special friend, Jody O'Connor of Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Brant; his brother, Ron Brant; and his uncle, Robert Peters.
Funeral services will be Friday 2:00 p.m. at Walker Mortuary. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday 12 noon until time of service at the Walker Mortuary.
