Richard W. "R.W." Rice, 59, of Forreston, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at his home surrounded by his family.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be a gathering for friends and family Thursday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 321 W. Main St. Freeport, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers memorials have been established for American Cancer Society and FHN Memorial Hospice.
