Obituary

Freeport- Richard A. Rinderman, 82 of Freeport died Monday November 12, 2007 at the Stephenson Nursing Center. Born May 23, 1925 in Cedarville he was the son of Anton and Edna (Sluiter) Rinderman. He and Betty Higley were married April 6, 1971 in Pearl City. He attended Freeport Schools and worked for Micro Switch for 19yrs. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1942-1945. His memberships include Bethany United Church of Christ, Eagles club and the V.F.W. He had a great passion for cars.
He is survived by his wife of Freeport; 2 sons Rick (Julie) Rinderman of Pearl City, Terry Rinderman of Lena; 5 daughters Dixie Schubert of Winslow, Roxie Montgomery of Freeport, Debbie Rinderman of Reedsburg, WI, Sally Schnell of Freeport, Charlene Dewey of Freeport; grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren; one brother David (Faith) Rinderman of N.M.; four sisters Doris A. Brill, Elaine Stoner, Sharon Mucia all of Freeport, Mary (Willard) Moliter of Arkansas; nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter LuAnn 2 brothers Rodney, Robert and 3 sisters Jeanette Buss, Carol Moss, Betty Smythe.
Visitation will be 4-7 pm Thursday at the Bethany United Church of Christ.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday at Bethany United Church of Christ with the Reverend William Blomberg officiating.
A memorial fund has been established in his name for the church.
Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport.
