Janesville, WI – Ricky Barrett, age 68 formerly of the Freeport area died peacefully at his home in Janesville, WI.  He was born on September 30, 1957 to the late Rydene and Anita (Hurd) Barrett.

He loved to hunt, fish, trap, listen to rock radio and work with his hands.  He was an avid Chicago Bear and Cubs fan and socializing with his friends and family gave him great joy especially around a bonfire while camping.

He is survived by his daughters, Sophie Barrett of Janesville, WI and her children K.C. Craft of Madison and Marley Virgo of Janesville; Courtney Lestikow of Milton, WI and her children Aslynn Lestikow of LaCrosse, WI and Charlie Lestikow of Janesville, WI.  He also leaves behind a sister, Kathy Barrett of Freeport; Niece Sarah Barrett of Freeport and Nephew Steve (Audrey) Barrett of Ellisville, MS and several great nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Cindy Barrett and brother, Mike Barrett.
