Rita Mae Andres, 67, of Ridott, died Monday, August 31, 2015, at the UW Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
Born October 8, 1947 in Freeport she was the daughter of Harold and Rozella (Buss) Diestelmeier. She married Dennis L. Andres February 8, 1969.
Rita worked for the Northwestern Telephone Company for 27 years.
She was a volunteer for Friends Forever Humane Society.
Surviving are her husband, Dennis of Ridott; her children, Stacey (Edward) Stucke of Rockford and Marty (Jenny) Andres of Pecatonica; her sisters, Sandra Reed of Lena and Judy Diestelmeier of Freeport; her brother, Eugene (Jody) Diestelmeier of Eleroy; 2 grandchildren, Edward Stucke and Cassandra DeYoung.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 3 pm. September 9, 2015 at Walker Mortuary. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. until time of service at the Walker Mortuary, September 9, 2015.
A memorial has been established for Friends Forever Humane Society.
