Robert L. Davey, 93 of Freeport passed away at Liberty Village, Manor Court.  He was born on March 8, 1931 to the late Leland and Betty (Bryant) Davey.  He and Marilyn Blair were married on March 30, 1951, and together they raised a family.  He worked at the Savanna Army Depot, owned and operated Bob's Dry Cleaners in Stockton, owned and operated Davey's Music Company, and retired from Orkin Pest Control.  He was a member of the Stockton Lions Club and the United Methodist Embury church in Freeport.

He enjoyed watching the Cubs, fishing, and visiting his kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn, daughter's Margo Guerrettaz of Lake St. Louis, MO., and Laurie (Scott) Moyer of Spooner, WI., 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his parents, 1 son, Bryan Davey, and son-in-law, Frank Guerrettaz.  Cremation rites were accorded and there are no services scheduled at this time.  Condolences can be left for the family at www.walkermortuary.com
